Cleansing Your Body of Toxins

Even though heavy metals and other toxins can lead to many serious health issues if not addressed, they are relatively easy to get rid of when you are hyperaware of their source. The key to removing from our body is diligence and consistency.

You will want to focus on eating and drinking foods that promote the detoxing of heavy metals and other toxins like plastic, and avoid sources of toxins that you are exposed to.

Here are a list of foods and supplements that help the body detox heavy metals

Cilantro- very effective at removing heavy metals and other toxins from the body, helps to detoxify the liver, balances glucose levels, prevents weight gain, helps with brain fog

  • Eat at least a half cup a day to benefit from it, and it has to be raw, can be added to smoothies or sprinkled on salads

  •  Fun fact- people with cilantro taste aversions don’t actually have a gene that says they can’t tolerate it. If someone has a cilantro taste aversion it is due to the fact that that particular person has a higher oxidative rate of heavy metals in their system. The metals in their body are corroding so rapidly that there is what you could call a “toxic runoff” in their salvia so the second the cilantro comes in contact with their mouth, the phytochemicals inside it, start to bind to the “toxic runoff” and results in the harsh sensation that describe when eating cilantro. If a person has this issue or taste aversion with cilantro it means they really need it to get rid of all the heavy metal build up they have.

Parsley- parsley helps to alkalize the body, it is very helping for preventing cancer and helping those battling cancer, removes heavy metals, and helps any mouth-related issue like gum-disease, tooth decay, and dry mouth

  • Eat at least a quarter up daily to benefits from it, must be raw, salads or smoothies

Garlic- it is anti-pathogenic so it prevents pathogens form hanging out in the body, garlic doesn’t remove anything in your digestive tract that is benefiting you, if you eat garlic and find that it makes you gassy or bloated odds are it is working too remove viral particle, pathogens or other toxins out of your body. It also helps at removing toxic heavy metals in the colon

  • Eat two fresh cloves daily, also protects the body from getting sick

Sage- 2 tablespoons a day, you can find sage powder in capsule but if you can eat in during the day that is best

Plantain Leaf- you can find it dried and make it into a tea, drink a cup a day

Red Clover Blossom- brew two tablespoons of the dried flower blossoms for two cups of tea daily 

Wild Blueberries- very detoxing and will help the body rid itself of the heavy metals, they have insanely high levels of antioxidants which makes they very powerful, regular blueberries don’t have the same properties

  • Try having 2 cups of wild blueberries daily to detox heavy metals

Atlantic Dulse flakes- binds to mercury, lead, aluminum, copper, cadmium, and nickel and helps to remove them from the body, eat 2 tablespoons daily in smoothies, salads, or soups

Celery juice- helps the body to flush out toxins in general including heavy metals

  • 16 ounces daily on an empty stomach

  • Must drink within 24 hours of juicing the celery or it oxidizes and is no longer good

  • Wait 15-30 minutes after drinking it before eating or drinking anything else

Lemon water

  • 16 ounces with 1/2 a lemon squeezed into it first thing in the morning wait 15-30 minutes before having anything else (even your celery juice)

Fresh squeezed orange juice- drink within 30 minutes of juicing the oranges for the most detox benefits

Watermelon juice- hydrating and cleansing (even other melons too)

 Cucumbers and cucumber juice 

Cucumber and apple juice – the combo is really effective at gently cleansing your body (gentle is better)

Hibiscus tea- great for the health of your liver

Lemon balm tea- calming to the liver, also kills off viruses

Chaga tea- a healing mushroom, add raw honey to increase its healing properties

Pitaya- great for cleansing the liver of toxins

Supplements-

Zeolite- you want to buy it in liquid form

Spirulina- the best is Hawaiian spirulina, powder form is best, and try to have at least one teaspoon daily, mix in water or smoothie

L-glutamine- powder form is preferable especially if taking it to detox heavy metals, take one teaspoon daily in water or a smoothie
