About me

My name is Taylor and I live in the cute little area of Playa Del Rey in Los Angeles, California with my two fluffy dogs Nash & Harden. I have a B.A. in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University and I went on to pursue a Masters of Science in Health Coaching and Applied Nutrition . I also have specialized degrees in Gut Health and Hormone Health as well as extensive knowledge and training with auto immune and chronic illness.

My journey into a love of nutrition begins in 2008 when my father passed away suddenly in a plane crash. I was 14 years old.

Two years after the passing of my father I felt I was doing significantly better. The reality was I wasn’t. I slowly started eating less and less. I lost too much weight for my age, and I attributed my weight loss to my newly discovered exercise routine. I would run EVERY day. It started with just a few miles to running 10 miles daily all while not haven’t eaten all day.

A lot of women like myself have felt pressure to look a certain way at some point in their lives. I struggled with my eating disorder for 5 years, and had a lot of false knowledge when it came to nutrition. So I began reading books on nutrition, which really sparked my interest. I started learning the importance of eating wholesome minimally process foods. This began my passion for wanting to share with others the importance of not only feeding your body, but feeding it the most natural form of nutrients.

My journey continues when I was diagnosed with Lyme’s Disease, an auto immune disorder, and candida overgrowth in September of 2018 while in my master’s program. This experience has lead me to have a deeper understanding of how everything in the body is connected, and when one part of the system is out of balance it throws everything else off in an effort to try to heal itself.

My goal is to share my story and my knowledge with people who have also struggled to find the truth about nutrition and how to properly nourish our bodies. I am a firm believer that the best you can do when it comes to food is minimize your exposure to unnecessary additives and eat as cleanly as possible.

I aim to help every single one of my clients find ways to nourish their bodies so they feel their absolute best, while also discovering the joy food can bring when we eat for good health.
